The King's Law
All guardsmen are bound by the King's Law, which governs behavior both on and off duty:
1. Guardsmen shall not murder, steal, or commit crimes against citizens
2. Guardsmen shall obey orders from superior officers
3. Guardsmen shall not desert their post
4. Guardsmen shall treat prisoners with dignity
5. Guardsmen shall not engage in corruption or bribery
6. Guardsmen shall maintain their equipment in good order
7. Guardsmen shall represent the militia with honor
Violation of the King's Law may result in demotion, stripping of awards, or expulsion from the militia.
