When roleplaying a Guardsman, remember that your character is an ordinary person. They are not heroes — they are farmers, fishers, and citizens who have taken up arms to protect their homeland.
Speak in character at all times during events. Use ye olde English where appropriate but don't overdo it. Address superiors by rank. Follow orders from Command.
